The Development of the Teen Brain


The brain does not reach full development until mid-twenties and one of the last regions of the brain to develop is the pre-frontal cortex which is the part of the brain responsible for making executive decisions such as planning, setting priorities, controlling impulses and weighing the consequences of actions.
